Chapter Wide | Student Mentoring Program 2025

Registration for the annual IIDA Student Mentoring Program is now OPEN!

Hosted annually in the Spring, the IIDA Student Mentoring Program pairs students and design professionals for 8 weeks of mentoring throughout March and April. The program begins with a kickoff webinar (on March 3) where we will review expectations, communication, and answer any questions mentors and students may have. Mentorship is offered both in-person and virtually, depending on preference and placement. While we are not able to place all mentorships in-person, we do our best to accommodate.

Who can be a mentor?
Any design professional - designers, sales representatives, firm owners, retired professionals, educators, etc. We just ask that you accurately state your role and industry so we can match you with students with similar career interests. Spread the word and help recruit your colleagues and peers!

Time commitment.
The Mentorship Program spans March 3 – April 31. We ask that you meet with your mentee throughout the 8 weeks and have provided some minimum requirements below to help you understand the commitment.
